Armstrong|The story is factual, well organized, and well written with ample humor. The author keeps interesting what could have been a very dry documentary. I especially liked the organization of the short chapters that told a story without the flowery unnecessary detail usually found in non-fiction. The washing machine episode was my favorite||What we have, in my opinion, in Days Like Floating Water is an extraordinarily well written, almost lyrical, memoir. I found it to be warm and engaging, informative and humorous. The narrator, as it were, is so candid and articulate, witty and aware, I
